The U.S. Army is working on a flying saucer prototype that will be made by the British. They awarded the contract to develop this UFO hovering machine to the British company JLN Labs.  It appears like this UFO shaped flying craft will act as a UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) and provide security at bases and possibly tactical roles on the battlefield as well. The design for the craft is innovative and based on an aeronautical principle called Coanda Effect. The saucer measures about 4ft in diameter and the designers are working on optimizing the power, the control system and payload. Check out the video below: Source: OhGizmo

Hillcrest Labs has developed a unique controller for electronic devices called "The Loop". The Loop features a lightweight organic design and has two buttons with a scroll wheel, much like a computer mouse. The remote was developed so the user can hold the remote at any angle relative to screen and the pointer will still be there. For example it will move up on the screen, if your moving it up, whether you are holding the controller upside down, upright regularly, sideways or on angles. There’s a speaker located on top of the van where the music comes out of. The best part is the van only requires a 9v battery.
