Wish you had your neighbors 4 car garage? Well check out Volkswagen’s storage facility. This 20 story garage is located in Wolfsburg, Germany and is fully automated. The garage was designed to be automated to save space as well as prevent accidents caused by human error. In fact because of the automated design 20% less space is needed to store the vehicles. “In a fully automated procedure, your new car is brought down to you from one of the 20-story Car Towers. Large signboards in the Customer Center show you when your turn has come. Then, you’re handed the keys, your picture is taken, the glass doors open and your brand-new car appears. Today’s theme seems to be  portable gadgets that include an mp3 player and the MacGyver MP3 Watch is no exception.  This well designed wrist watch offers a built in MP3 player with up to 1GB of memory and 5 hours of non-stop play time.  Everyone that has owned a watch knows the hassle caused by having to get a battery replaced however the MacGyver MP3 Watch is powered by a USB rechargeable lithium ion battery which eliminates that hassle.  The watch also includes a microphone for voice recording and allows you to store messages.  Overall the MacGyver MP3 Watch is a well designed and clever gadget, however it will cost you a hefty $299.95.

Sony’s new line of Walkman phones offer a portable music solution integrated into the sharp design of a cell phone. The W710 is the lower end of the two new phones and contains a 2 megapixel camera, a 512 MB memory stick and a built in fm radio. The W850 however boosts some more impressive stats and includes a 1GB memory stick (can be upgraded to 4GB) which should be plenty of room for all of those mp3’s as well as a faster download speed using UMTS. The Sony Ericsson W850 also supports web browsing and RSS feeds, so you can check out Infinity Labs on the go.

Now you can own your very own yacht. Ok well not quite but you’ll still have tons of fun with this gas powered 5′  boat from Hammacher Schlemmer.  The boat’s  hull is built out of fiberglass and it uses a 24cc Fuji engine and a 65mm steel propeller to rocket it forward through the water at speeds up to 35mph. The Mitsubishi "I" retails for $14,500 and includes a slot to plug in your Ipod Nano and it allows you to control it from the navigation systems touch panel. The car is currently only available in Japan, and there is no word if it will go on sale in the states.

The screen boosts a resolution of 1024 x 600 and is 4.5".  It not only has 2 cameras and a microphone but it also includes a biometric fingerprint sensor and supports 802.11 a/b/g wireless internet.  The  VAIO UX-180P is expected to be in stores this summer at a price of $1800.  More pictures below..
