When we first heard about the new Ferrari notebooks we were skeptical that it was probably just another brand-name gimmick. However the new 5000 and 1000 Dual Core models really pack a punch, maybe not as much as a real Enzo, but for a laptop their horsepower is pretty impressive. The Ferrari-Acer 5000 includes an AMD Turion 64 X2 processor, 15.4 inch LCD screen, a 160gb hard drive, and an HD DVD drive when they become available. The Ferrari-Acer 1000 is just a smaller version of the 5000 sporting a 12.1 inch screen. The carbon fiber casing really gives both models a sleek, sexy look that wouldn’t be complete without the Ferrari logo placed on the front. Check it out over at Acer’s website, via Gizmodo
